Simply Beautiful Lakeside Wedding

Lainie and Aaron are an easy-going couple who have merged their two families together. Lainie’s pup came to enjoy their day also. On their wedding day, everyone was happy to be there. Their friends and family were there to fully support and laugh with them.

Luckily, they and their families are ‘lake people.’ As a native Minnesotan, I love lakeside weddings. So, the venue being an intimate backyard wedding on a lake is beautiful to me. It keeps it easy for everyone coming be able to find them, and they’re already familiar with the ‘venue.’

June weddings are kind of like the summer version of October fall weddings as far as weather goes. You’re either going to have a hot weather wedding or cold and/or a day that has some rain. Eitherways, it will be beautiful. Lainie and Aaron’s’ June wedding was on the warmer side with ‘happy’ clouds and 93 degree sunny weather. Since no one wants to share sweat when posing, we went back and forth between intimate poses together, more space between one-another, and putting fans on each other. I don’t want people to pass out to pose.

Lainie wanted simple, no-fuss wedding day photography coverage. It was a worry that I may ‘say no’ to photographing her due to only wanting two hours of coverage. Incase anyone is wondering, two hours is my usual minimum for coverage. (If you want less, please feel free to talk to me about it.) It was the perfect amount of time to photograph them, candids, family and the ceremony.

I hope you enjoy their photographs! I am always grateful when people choose me as a photographer.
